RUF TRIBUTE

RUF honors the 911 zu Ehren des 911er

In our 60-year love affair with the 911, we are bringing back one of the elements that shaped the heart and soul of this iconic masterpiece - the air-cooled motor. We are proud to introduce Alois Ruf’s new air-cooled engine, a testament to our brand’s heritage blended harmoniously with contemporary innovation.

This remarkable vehicle is a nostalgic journey back to our roots, embodying the spirit of classic air-cooled engines while infusing it with a touch of modernity, featuring four-cam technology with variable cam timing, variable valve lift and threevalve cylinder heads

As part of the drivetrain, the RUF-designed air-cooled 3.6-liter twin-turbo engine is embedded in a carbon-fiber chassis, producing 550 horsepower at 6,750 RPM. The engine’s construction is based on a six-cylinder horizontally opposed configuration with an aluminum block and cylinder heads, ensuring a lightweight and robust design.
