10.09.2009 - Subsidies promise for the project „Harz.Renewable Energy-mobility!
On September the 07th 2009 further turnouts for the future were posed in Halberstadt. The federal environment minister Sigmar Gabriel handed subsidies promise in the high of millions for the project "Harz.renewable Energy-mobility".
An economy plan that should make the regenerative energy usable for electric vehicles.
You could see the future at the factory premises of the Halberstadt works.
Cars as well as commercial vehicles that are powered by eclectic engines.
The test drive with the eRUF was a pleasure for the minister.
13.08.2009 - Diesel - Power from RUF
The new Cayenne Diesel with RUF - Power
With immediate effect RUF offers two modifications for the Porsche Cayenne Diesel.
The serial 3,0 l Turbo-Diesel with 176 kW (240 hp) reaches with the small power level about 212 kW (288 hp), the torque climbs about 60 Nm up to max. 560 Nm. The price for the conversion is 3.048,- Euro plus VAT.
With the big power level the output climbs up to about 228 kW (310 hp) and the max. torque climbs up to 610 Nm. The price for this conversion is 6.379,- Euro plus VAT.

RWE presents the "gas station of the future"
RWE presents at a nationwide Roadshow the "gas station of the future". There you can buy no diesel or benzine but electricity.
Copartner like SIXT, Siemens and RUF assist the Roadshow. The eRUF development cars and other electric cars will be available for organized trips. There is also a play ground for the small electric car drivers of tomorrow.

08.07.2009 - The new RUF Rt 12 S
The RUF Rt 12 S follows the Rt 12
The new dimension of driving pleasure is
the RUF Rt 12 S. This high performance sports car connects high end performance with complete road capability.The refined biturbo boxer engine with 504 kW (685 hp) develops a maximal torque of 880 Nm and even satisfies highest demands. The roll cage which is integrated in the ceiling has been developed by RUF and belongs to the standard equipment of the Rt 12 S.The new RUF sets a new course with the dynamic design of the front with separate LED alternative lamps for the position light and the turn signals. A discreet carbon rear spoiler with tearing edge, air ducts which are harmonically integrated in the widened rear fenders and exterior mirrors from the RUF CTR 3 complete the appearance of the Rt 12 S.The RUF has forged 19 inch light alloy wheels in the front and in the rear. Behind you can see the ceramic brake discs of this high performance brake system. The chassis and the aerodynamics are tuned to a maximum speed
of 360 km/h.Optionally we can deliver a height adjustable front axle which hydraulically offers 50 millimetres more chassis clearance by pushing a button for passing basement garages and higher curbs easily.The interior is constructed for a RUF known functionality. Extremely contoured bucket seats or comfortable sport seats and a steering wheel with maximum grip offer the right ergonomics for fatigue-proof driving. Applications in varnish, aluminium or carbon are possible and offer the client an individual scope of design.
The RUF Rt 12 S coupé can optionally be delivered with rear drive or four-wheel drive and costs 255,900.00 Euro (plus VAT).
03.07.2009 - Festival of Speed
Fans from the whole world will travel to Goodwood from July the 3rd till July the 5th 2009 to the Festival of Speed.
Racing cars, rallye cars, sports cars and motorbikes will be displayed and driven there.
RUF will present the actual super sports car CTR3 and the eRUF there.
08.06.2009 - eRUF in Sylt
fresh maritime air, picturesque dunes, sunny hours - the nature is the real cultura assets of the North Sea Island Sylt. But there is also an automobile culture. In the town of Keitum RUF displayed from June 5th until 6th 2009 the eRUF. Porsche automobiles are quite frequent in Sylt.
RUF has developed the eRUF, which is absolutely emission-free because of a powerful electric engine.
The eRUF is based on the latest Porsche 911. A three-phase engine makes for thrust. The electric engine has 270kW (367hp) and up to 950Nm torque. The eRUF accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5sec. Vmax is 250km/h.
The eRUF will go production by mid 2010 an will have a dual engine, the innovative integral eDrive.

The electric avenue in Friedrichshafen at the lake Constance will take place from the 21st till the 24th of May 2009.
New alternative drive trains are in the limelight of the new expo for effective mobility. RUF will present the eRUF.
07.05.2009 - Porsche Club Portugal visited RUF
On the way to the new Porsche museum in Stuttgart the Porsche Club from Portugal visited the RUF company in Pfaffenhausen. The guests were very impressed of the production of the CTR 3 and the new Rt 12 S as well as of the rare Porsche vintage cars which are in the RUF halls for restoration.
09.04.2009 - TOP MARQUES MONACO
For enthusiasts of exclusive automobiles and luxury goods there was only one destination in April: Monte Carlo. From April 16th to 19th one of the most exciting events in the automobile industry took place in Monte Carlo: the "Top Marques Monaco". RUF not only presented the new Rt12S, but also the superlative CTR3 and the spectacular electric car eRUF.
03.03.2009 - RUF and Siemens announce their cooperation in Geneva
At the international Motor Show in Geneva from March 5th to 15th 2009 RUF Automobile GmbH and Siemens Corporate Technology announce their cooperation for the eRUF. In the symbiosis between two leading companies - Siemens in the electrical industry and RUF in the automotive industry - the biggest possible synergies are used to expedite the future of electric mobility. 02.03.2009 - World innovation at Geneva Motor Show: the RUF Dakara
The high luxury SUV by RUF is called Dakara and is based on the successful Porshe Cayenne. Exterior and interior fulfill even highest customer's demands. The 911 headlights add a special sports automobile look to the Dakara and the wide fenders let is appear powerful. The Dakara design is available for all Cayenne models- Cameras in the front and rear guarantee ideal panoramic view. Exquisitely crafted leather work dominates the interior. The leather does not only distinguish itself through fine materials but also through a new seat design. A high end multi media system with TV receipton, internet access and CD/DVD changer satisfies highest demand and expectations. The Dakara is powered by its V8 turbo engine with 600hp at 600rpm, the maximum torques of 890 Nm (656 ft/lbs) at 3000 rpm, acceleration 4,8 seconds from 0 - 100 km/h. Suspension and brake system werde developed to match these high demands; a ceramic brake system is also available. The RUF Dakara tops off the RUF model palette.

On January 28th 2009 the 7th World Mobility Forum took place in Stuttgart. Part of the event was a display of alternatively powered vehicles. More than 30 cars could be looked at and gazed up in front of the townhall of Stuttgart.
