11.12.2008 - Presentation of the RUF CTR3 watch from ORIS
On December 11th 2008 the new RUF CTR3 watch by Oris was presented in Pfaffenhausen. Numerous well-known journalists took part at the presentation. The manufacturing companies Oris and RUF are connected by unique know-how in manufacturing top-quality products. On the one hand it is hand-crafted high performance street legal sports automobiles; on the other hand it is mechanical watches of highest precision in Swiss craftsmanship.
The design of the new Oris RUF CTR3 limited edition chronographs were inspired by the optics of the RUF sports car. The housing is made of titanium; the tachymeter lunette consists of an extremly durable motor sport material ceramics. The watchstrap is fine leather. The chronograph is limited to 3.000 pieces.
10.10.2008 - eRUF Concept Model A
RUF Automobile GmbH proudly presented the first electrically powered sports car from Germany on October 10th 2008. More information can be found under DOWNLOADS.
11.09.2008 - RUF Rallye 2008
RUF friends and enthusiasts met from September 11th to 15th in the Austrian and German Alps for another fantastic Rallye. The group pf 40 people in about 20 automobiles enjoyed charming countryside and luxurious hotels. Highlight of the Rallye was the driving training at the "Salzburgring" race track and the following gala night.
30.08.2008 - Visit of Porsche Club Munich on August 30th, 2008
It is a nice tradition that the PC Munich does a "pit stop" at RUF in Pfaffenhausen. Before they had lunch at the "Ammersee" the club members informed themselves about current RUF models and above all about the brand-new CTR3. Friends of historic cars were enthused about the young- and oldtimers that are being restored at RUF at the moment.
29.08.2008 - French exchange students at RUF
On August the 29th, 2008 mayor Lochbronner from the nearby town Kirchheim visited with German and French students of the twin town Renazé RUF in Pfaffenhausen. The students were very interested and enthused about the RUF models.
17.07.2008 - Goodwood Festival of Speed 2008
From July 11th to 13th 2008 tranquil Goodwood came to the fore of superior motor sports. Enthusiasts from all across the world followed Lord March´s invitation. As usual, famous sports automobiles and motor cycles were exhibited and driven at this event. RUF presented the brand-new CTR 3 there.
08.04.2008 - Porsche Club Sweden visited RUF in Pfaffenhausen
During their sightseeing tour across Germany a group of the PC Sweden also visited RUF in Pfaffenhausen. The visitor group enjoyed learning about new RUF products during a guided tour through the company.
